Enterotoxemia or intestinal toxin enterotoxemia

It is the most dangerous and deadly disease in goats and sheep of all ages. The disease is caused by a bacterium called clostridium perfringens. This bacterium is present in very small numbers all the time in the gastrointestinal tract of every healthy sheep and goat. This late-growing bacterium does not affect animal health unless the number exceeds 1.

                      Enterotoxemia or intestinal toxin enterotoxemia

Reasons: -

If the animal's diet is changed 1 time and the animal is given excessive protein supplements. Divide grain. If too much milk or in other words animal foods are suddenly added to foods high in starch, sugar and protein, it can lead to the disease. The growth and development of this clostridium perfringens are also increased when the animal's diet is increased to speed up the recovery and fattening of the animal. Also called bacterial activation. As the number of these bacteria increases dramatically, the release of powerful toxins from them also increases, causing severe damage to the animal and destroying not only the small intestine but also other organs. Due to which the animal goes to the brink of death.

                                   Enterotoxemia or intestinal toxin enterotoxemia

Symptoms: -

Sudden onset of lethargy, lethargy, symptoms of abdominal pain such as tingling in the animal's abdomen, frequent sitting and standing, lying on one side, panting and groaning, dahlia in some animals Toxins, loss of the ability of the animal to stand, sometimes blood in the faeces of the animal, this poison which spreads in the body also has a severe effect on the brain of the animal due to which the animal attaches its head and neck to its body. These symptoms are considered to be the last symptoms of the animal, and the animal may die within 1 minute to 12 hours of its appearance. Because of the rapid onset of the disease, animals are sometimes found dead without any symptoms.

Treatment:-

The treatment of this disease is not very effective at the initial stage. The disease is treated with analgesic or pain killers and probiotics or beneficial bacteria for health.

Precautions:-

The disease can be prevented by the timely use of vaccines and caution in the diet. If the change in diet is intended, then gradually change the diet and avoid increasing the dose at once, as well as proper use of digestive powder and baking soda may be helpful.
