Vaccination against deadly diseases of goats What is Vaccination Why is it important and what is the correct way to administer it:

Assalamu Alaikum, dear farmer brothers, they say that preventing an animal from getting sick is easier than treating it after it gets sick, that's why today we will talk about vaccinations to prevent three deadly diseases of animals and see. What is vaccination and why is it important and what is the best way to do it?

What is Immunization Vaccination?

Like humans, there are many deadly viral diseases in animals, and if one animal gets it, it spreads to other animals, which is not impossible to treat, but it is difficult and the death rate of the animal in them is devastating. is high and therefore the farmer is afraid of a lot of financial loss, but it is possible to prevent them if the animal is vaccinated against this disease, and the animal remains safe.

3 diseases of goats for which vaccination is very important:
Thus, many diseases goats are vaccinated in the world, but not all vaccines are available in our country, so vaccination should be mandatory to prevent at least 3 dangerous diseases.

1- Enterotoxemia (ET)

It is a common disease in goats and children. In this disease, the animal suddenly dies and there is no time for treatment, so it is very important to get vaccinated.
Its vaccine is available almost everywhere in the form of a killed vaccine. This vaccine is given 1 ml subcutaneously and after one month another booster dose must be given. After that, every 6 months should be applied.
If this vaccine is applied to the gibbon goat in the last month, then the babies born are also protected and they are not afraid of dying from this disease soon after birth, then they are given this vaccine at the age of about 2 months.

2- Cata or PPR

It is a very dangerous disease for goats and the mortality rate is about 90%. This disease spreads very quickly and covers the entire farm in no time. That is why it is also called the Goat plague. goes Vaccine is the only way to prevent it. Fortunately, its vaccine is readily available everywhere in the form of a live vaccine that must be prepared before use. 1 ml is applied subcutaneously and is given to babies at 3 months of age and also to gibbons. One dose of this vaccine is sufficient for one to three years.

3- Pleuropneumonia or CCPP

It is also a dangerous disease in goats that affects the lungs of the animal and the animals will see a mortality rate of up to 80%. This disease also spreads rapidly and can spread throughout the farm, so vaccination is very important. Its vaccine is also readily available in the form of a killed vaccine. It is also administered 1 ml subcutaneously in children at the age of 3 months and is also administered to gibbons. This vaccine must be administered every 6 months.

Essential Instructions for Immunization Vaccination

Vaccination is always administered to a healthy animal. If the animal is sick, it is treated with medicine. Vaccination of a sick animal can increase the severity of the disease and the death of the animal can also occur.

May Allah protect all our animals and bless our business, Amen.
