Pets Food Poisoning Prevention

One of the most common cases that we witness every day  that is food poisoning. 

And the numbers go up during the time of festivals. In weather like that of now where the amount of toxins is higher than usual because of many allying reasons, we have come to your rescue in regards to poisoning in your furries and general tips to know about.

The most immediate signs of pet poisoning are:

unconsciousness, 

coughing,

 drooling, or vomiting. 

And the primary task is to call a vet. 

Before that, being a pet parent, one can try the following steps too, to subside the pain your pet might be going through:

1. If the poisoning is mostly from unpleasant fumes or gas, get your pet to fresh air; however, don't jeopardize your safety.

2. Put on protective gloves and remove the material from the skin if the poisoning was caused by touch.

3. Never remove poison with water, solvents, or anything else unless your veterinarian specifically instructs you to.

4. Try to keep a record of the name of the toxin, its potency, and the quantity your pet has consumed or been exposed to. This might prove helpful to the vet.

5. Keep in mind these pointers and your pet will be at its best once they are in the safe hands of a professional.
